On June 14th, we hosted the 9th annual Cal Struble Memorial Golf Tournament. We had 114 golfers and 43 volunteers attend the event, making it a spectacular day.
The event raised awareness for Huntington’s Disease and $48,992 to help local families with their daily lives and stay safe in their homes.
All proceeds go to help Huntington’s Kansas City — benefiting and equipping HD families to meet the physical needs for the activities of daily living and to optimize the mental well-being throughout the family as they care fort the HD individual at home.
We can not thank everyone enough for this fun, successful event!!

The tournament continues to grow its support for the HD community, raising more money nearly every year.
2017 — $10,500
2018 — $15,000
2019 — $20,000
2020 — $21,000
2021 — $32,000

Through his gentle spirit and brave heart, Cal was an inspiration to those living with HD and their families. Cal died from HD November 21, 2016, at the age of 59. During his 12 years with HD, Cal never gave up or gave in to HD. His two goals in life were to glorify God and raise money to find a cure for HD.
